This clock has been partially finished, sitting in my room for ages. Finally, I finished it with the help of Austin and David from HeatSync!
This project was made with chalkboard MDF, some masonite formed into a grid (I forgot to take pictures of that), some black acrylic and lots of wood glue. Also, LED strings found on Amazon.
I used WS2811 LEDs (it turned out one was defective and I had the hardest time getting them to light up) and an Arduino Duemilanove that I had lying around.
The testing programming was using the standard FastLED library.
